These Terms govern your access to and use of our job portal, including the creation of a profile and the application for vacancies (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1) Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be legally able to enter into contracts and, where applicable, meet the minimum legal working age in your jurisdiction.
- Keep your credentials confidential; you’re responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized use.
2) User Content & License
- Ownership: You retain ownership of content you provide, including résumé/CV, cover letters, portfolio items, messages, feedback, and other materials (“User Content”).
- License to Ethics HR: You grant Ethics HR a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully-paid, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, store, index, parse, analyze, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, publicly perform and display User Content in any and all media for operating, providing, promoting, improving, and securing the Services (including profile parsing, scoring, deduplication, anti-fraud) and for marketing the Services.
- Moral rights waiver: To the maximum extent permitted by law, you waive and agree not to assert moral rights in your User Content against Ethics HR and its sublicensees for the above purposes.
- Third-party rights: You represent you have all rights necessary to grant the above license and that your User Content does not infringe others’ rights.
- Removal: You may delete User Content, but prior uses, shares with employers, and backup copies may persist for a limited time.
If you require a full assignment of rights, contact us; separate written terms would be needed.
3) Profile Visibility & Applications
- When you apply or set your profile to visible, you authorize Ethics HR to share relevant User Content with employers/recruiters and to facilitate messaging and interviews.
- Employers/recruiters may contact you using the details you provide and may retain application records under their policies.
4) Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- post unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, or fraudulent content;
- scrape, bulk download, or reverse engineer the Services;
- interfere with security or integrity, introduce malware, or overload our infrastructure;
- misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or authorization to work;
- use the Services to transmit spam or unsolicited messages.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5) Employers & Third Parties
- Ethics HR is not a party to any employment relationship or hiring decision; employers are solely responsible for their postings, selection, background checks, and compliance with applicable law.
- Third-party links, widgets, and sign-in providers are provided for convenience; their policies govern your use of them.
6) Paid Features (if any)
If certain features are paid for, you agree to the pricing, payment terms, and taxes shown at purchase. Fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.
7) Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use data and is incorporated by reference.
8) Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Ethics HR disclaims all warranties (express or implied), including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee job availability, interview invitations, or hiring outcomes.
9) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ethics HR will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption.
10) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ethics HR and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Services, or your breach of these Terms.
11) Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we believe you’ve violated these Terms or to protect the Services. You may stop using the Services at any time. Sections intended to survive (including 2, 5, 8–12) will survive termination.
12) Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified (e.g., email or in-product notice). Using the Services after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
13) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Courts located in Cairo will have exclusive jurisdiction.
