Strategic Leadership & Planning:
- Develop and execute the overall supply chain strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance agility and resilience across the supply chain.
Warehouse & Inventory Management:
- Oversee all warehouse operations, including storage, inventory control, and fulfillment for events.
- Select/develop, Implement and manage a robust Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Ensure high standards of asset care, maintenance, and organization for a diverse inventory (AV equipment, furniture, staging, etc.).
- Drive accuracy in inventory counts and minimize shrinkage.
Logistics & Transportation:
- Direct all logistics, including inbound freight, outbound event shipments, and on-site transportation.
- Manage relationships with freight carriers, couriers, and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Plan and optimize transportation routes and modes for complex, multi-site events.
- Ensure full compliance with all domestic and international shipping regulations.
Purchasing & Procurement:
- Lead the purchasing team in sourcing and procuring event materials, rental assets, and operational supplies.
- Develop and maintain a preferred vendor/supplier network, negotiating favorable terms and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality or reliability.
- Manage the company’s procurement system and purchase order process.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of managers and staff across warehouse, logistics, and purchasing.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Set clear performance objectives and conduct regular reviews.
Budget & Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the annual budget for the entire supply chain division.
- Analyze costs and implement strategies to reduce overall supply chain expenditure.
- Provide financial reporting and analysis related to inventory, logistics, and procurement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field from a reputable university.
- Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple functions.
- Proven experience within the event management, entertainment, hospitality, or a similar fast-paced, project-based industry is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory/WMS, transportation management, and strategic sourcing.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost analysis, and P&L management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with supply chain software and ERP systems.
