Description
  • Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases.
  • Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies.
  • Take a decision according to comprehensive cost analysis. 
  • Create and maintain good and long-term relationships with vendors/suppliers.
  • Register new vendors according to company registration process and documents needed. 
  • Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
  • Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options.
  • Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts.
  • Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality.
  • Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development.
  • Sustainable Procurement: Include eco-friendly practices, such as sourcing from suppliers with environmental certifications or reducing waste in packaging. 
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies (e.g., maintaining emergency supplier networks for critical medical items). 
  • Collaboration with HQ and clinic teams to understand operational needs (e.g., primary care workflows, urgent procurement requests). 
  • Explicitly reference compliance with anti-bribery policies and transparency in supplier negotiations.
  • Utilize available procurement software to maintain real-time records of medical and non-medical inventory and compliance documentation. 
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with local and group regulations 
  • Prepare reports on cost savings, supplier performance, and risk mitigation for senior management. 
  • Focus on cost savings while maintaining quality, supplier delivery times for critical items and reduction in stockouts of essential medical supplies.
  • Monitoring and updating procurement policy, procedures with alignment of the authority matrix.
  • Keeping values & ethics as a significant part of all communication.
  • Overseeing and supervising the buyer, messengers, and all activities of the purchasing department.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, accounting, business management or related major from a reputable university.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience and healthcare industry is a must.
  • Fluency in English is a must.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
