Description
  • Support execution of the retail assets strategy, translating business objectives into actionable plans across products such as personal loans, salary-backed lending, auto finance, and cards.
  • Manage day-to-day performance of the lending portfolio, tracking disbursements, approval rates, conversion, yield, and portfolio growth against defined targets.
  • Drive end-to-end execution of digital lending journeys, ensuring smooth customer experience across onboarding, credit decisioning, disbursement, and servicing.
  • Work closely with Risk teams to implement credit policies into decisioning systems, including scorecards, affordability checks, and approval workflows.
  • Monitor portfolio health metrics including delinquency trends, roll rates, early warning signals, and NPL ratios; initiate corrective actions where needed.
  • Partner with Collections and Risk to support portfolio quality improvement initiatives and reduce delinquencies.
  • Support product enhancements and optimization, including pricing adjustments, feature improvements, and customer journey refinements.
  • Coordinate with Technology and Operations to ensure system readiness, SLA adherence, and process efficiency across lending operations.
  • Manage relationships with credit bureaus, vendors, and fintech partners, ensuring smooth integration and service delivery.
  • Prepare performance dashboards and reports for senior management, highlighting portfolio trends and business insights.
  • Ensure all lending processes and customer interactions comply with CBE regulations, consumer protection guidelines, and internal policies.
  • Support regulatory reporting, audits, and internal reviews related to retail lending activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, turnaround time, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related discipline (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 10–12 years of experience in retail banking or consumer finance, with strong exposure to retail lending products.
• Hands-on experience managing retail assets portfolios including personal loans, auto finance, or credit cards.
• Strong understanding of Egyptian retail lending market dynamics, customer behavior, and competitive landscape.
• Experience working with digital lending platforms and automated decisioning systems.
• Good knowledge of credit risk concepts including scorecards, affordability models, delinquency management, and portfolio monitoring.
• Familiarity with Central Bank of Egypt regulations related to retail lending and consumer protection.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Risk, Collections, Technology, and Operations teams.
• Strong execution focus with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
