Description

 

1. Strategy  

  • Produce the overall company's Business Strategy, with the leadership team, translating into functional strategies and targets for the company.
  • Translate high-level corporate vision & strategy into executable actions.
  • Manage the business planning cycle, integrating strategic plans into segments/channels/ functional plans and planning horizons of 12 - 18 months ensuring high quality output.
  • Provide Egypt’s contribution to Group strategy development process and act as a liaison between the Group strategy function and the the company's Executive team
  • Report on top strategic programmes identified as imperative for the company.

 

2. Business Development, M&A and ventures:

  • Formulate & implement strategic plans to capture new business opportunities.
  • Develop & maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry leaders.
  • Identify and secure strategic alliances and partnerships to enhance the company’s portfolio and market reach.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new growth opportunities and business development.
  • Develop Strategic alliances and joint ventures to drive innovation, market expansion and competitive advantage
  • Develop & implement a strategic M&A roadmap aligned with company long-term objectives.
  • Oversee the end-to-end M&A process, from initial identification and due diligence through integration & post-merger evaluation.
  • Identify & evaluate potential M&A targets that complement and enhance the company’s strategic vison.
  • Formulate and negotiate M&A deal structures, terms and conditions to reach strategic goals and mitigate risks.

 

 

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
  • 15+ years in a relevant role.
  • Deep understanding of market dynamics and competitive advantage.
  • Ability to inspire teams and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data interpretation.
  • Strong deal-closing and communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for managing senior-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to navigate complex business environments.
  • Often reports to C-suite executives (CEO, COO, CFO) or serves as an executive board advisor.
  • Manages business development teams and works closely with other strategic functions.
