- Lead, manage, and supervise the technical office team, ensuring high-quality outputs and adherence to project schedules.
- Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of lighting shop drawings, single-line diagrams, lighting layouts, and BOQs.
- Ensure all technical drawings and documents fully comply with project specifications, applicable codes, and international standards.
- Review and validate lighting calculations, photometric studies, and simulations (DIALux / Relux) prepared by the technical team.
- Manage the preparation and submission of technical submittals for lighting fixtures, control systems, and accessories.
- Review and technically evaluate supplier quotations, ensuring compliance with project requirements and value engineering objectives.
- Coordinate closely with the procurement team to align technical approvals with material ordering and delivery schedules.
- Act as the main technical interface between design, construction, procurement, clients, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
- Lead the response to RFIs, site queries, technical clarifications, and consultant/client comments, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
- Attend and lead technical coordination meetings, resolving design conflicts and supporting project milestones.
- Ensure all lighting systems and designs comply with relevant standards and certifications (IEC, EN, NFPA, LEED, etc.).
- Drive continuous improvement, value engineering initiatives, and optimization of lighting solutions.
- Stay updated on innovations, technologies, and best practices in lighting systems, controls, and energy efficiency.
- Prepare and present technical reports, progress updates, and status summaries to senior management and stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain an effective document control system for drawings, submittals, approvals, and technical correspondence.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related major from a reputable university.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a related field.
- Must be from the Lighting Field.
