  Description

  • Lead and manage the technical operations team responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and scalability of electronic payment systems.
  • Oversee the certification processes required for electronic payment systems, including PCI DSS, EMV, and other industry-specific standards. Ensure continuous compliance with these standards.
  • Implement and maintain systems for real-time monitoring and alerting of electronic payment processing systems to identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Develop and implement incident response plans for payment processing systems, ensuring swift and effective resolution of technical incidents and outages.
  • Manage relationships with payment processors, technology vendors, and third-party service providers. Ensure vendor performance aligns with technical and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to plan and execute system upgrades, enhancements, and migrations to support evolving business needs and maintain system performance.
  • Assess system usage trends and plan for capacity scaling to accommodate growth in electronic payment transactions.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans for payment processing systems to minimize downtime in case of emergencies.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of technical configurations, procedures, and certifications for audit and compliance purposes.
  •  Implement and enforce security measures and controls for payment processing systems, including data encryption, access controls, and intrusion detection systems.
  •  Foster the professional development of the technical operations team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  •  Generate and distribute regular reports to senior management on the status of technical operations, system performance, and compliance with certifications.
  • Ensure correct adoption of policies and procedures to guarantee that the bank's business is conducted in compliance with Local Laws, Internal rules and regulations, as well as International Standards.
  • Ensure the correct functioning and implementation of Permanent Supervision system, compliance, operational risk & workplace success guidelines whenever & wherever possible.

  Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field from a reputable university. A master's degree is a plus. 
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in e-payments technical operations and certifications.
  • Excellent knowledge of payment card industry standards (PCI DSS), EMV, and other relevant certifications.
  • Proficiency in payment processing technologies, including point-of-sale (POS) systems, card processing networks, and payment gateways.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage technical incidents effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams, vendors, and auditors.
  • Experience with disaster recovery planning and execution. Familiarity with capacity planning and scalability considerations for payment systems.
