Description
- Lead and develop the Accounting team.
- Set stretch goals and objectives for the team that drives increased value and efficiency in initiating and implementing cost savings and process improvement projects.
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
- Month and end-year process.
- Accounts payable/receivable.
- Cash receipts.
- General ledger.
- Utilities, budgeting.
- Capital assets reconciliations.
- Sister Companies' account statement reconciliations.
- Fixed asset activity.
- Debt activity.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits.
- Provide recommendations.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Meet financial accounting objectives.
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance or related major from a reputable university.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience including 2+ years of experience in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
- Good usage of the ERP system.
- Excellent command of English, written and verbal communication.
