MEP Project Engineer

MEP Project Engineer (317247)

Responsible for providing MEP engineering design review, coordination and construction technical support for all company projects
Updating drawings to fit newly approved modifications for As-Built drawings
Ensuring work is executed according to contract specifications, approved design drawings, agreed procedures and method statements
Interacting with client and consultant regarding the status of work
Completing necessary quality assurance documentation of work under direct control
Raising inspection requests for work completed
Liaise with service engineers & technicians, surveyors, architectural technologists and other construction professionals
To be understandable of product/ materials and equipment to be used in various systems
To be aware of installation methods & correct sequence of work
Prepare reports, drawings and technical specifications
Carry out tests on systems and make changes to plans where necessary
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Negotiating with client and consultant for obtaining approvals for the change requests
Ensuring all templates used with the department conform to the company standard
Prepare, operate and update document control procedures in line with the company’s document management system
Produce and maintain document progress reports to the project management director
