Description
- Hires, trains and motivates all dealership department managers.
- Direct and monitor all dealership management or supervisory personnel functions and completes formal performance evaluations of all department managers at regularly scheduled intervals.
- Plan dealership operations for the coming year and submit to the dealer for approval.
- Meet with managers individually to develop monthly and annual goals and objectives, and to review actual performance.
- Monitor the daily operating control (DOC), recommending improved courses of action where necessary.
- Provide dealer with accurate weekly reports on the financial condition of the dealership.
- Ensure that the monthly financial statement is complete, accurate and submitted on time.
- Communicate management policies and procedures to all employees and ensures that they are understood and followed.
- Provide enthusiastic leadership to help shape employees' attitudes and build morale.
- Hold regularly scheduled managers meetings to ensure that every department is operating efficiently and profitably.
- Coordinate with the business office to ensure that records and analysis are maintained accurately.
- Develop merchandising strategies and assists in creating effective, cost-efficient advertising programs.
- Resolve any customer complaints that department managers are unable to rectify.
- Provide product strategic direction to ensure profitable growth; contribute towards global sales strategies within automotive applications.
- Present product ideas and proposals to the team following established approval processes.
- Build business cases for product platforms.
- Direct research and data analysis efforts to identify customer needs and improve the lead quality, user satisfaction and ultimately grow revenue.
- Develop accurate pricing strategies against competitors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related major from a reputable university.
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in Automotive sector.
- Excellent communication/leadership skills.
- Fluency in English is a must.
- Proven track of leadership skills.
