Description
  • Direct all daily operations of the company's central warehouse, overseeing receipt, storage, staging, picking, and dispatch of construction materials, MEP items, finishing supplies, and raw stock.
  • Coordinate with site storekeepers across active project sites nationwide to establish standardized inventory handling, storage procedures, and stock control.
  • Optimize warehouse space utilization, layout, and rack zoning to accommodate heavy materials, delicate finishing supplies, and high-turnover tools safely.
  • Implement, maintain, and optimize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP inventory modules (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo) for real-time tracking of construction stock and assets.
  • Lead routine cycle counts, physical inventory reconciliations, and annual stock audits to maintain an accuracy rate of 98%+.
  • Monitor stock levels, establish minimum/maximum safety thresholds, and flag slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged stock to senior management.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Procurement teams to fulfill material requests according to strict project schedules.
  • Supervise offloading of inbound shipments from local and international suppliers, ensuring items match Purchase Orders (POs) and technical delivery notes.
  • Oversee outbound dispatch and transport logistics to construction sites, ensuring materials are loaded safely and delivered intact with appropriate documentation.
  • Manage the registration, check-in/check-out, and routine maintenance of construction machinery, power tools, safety gear (PPE), and specialized testing equipment.
  • Enforce tool accountability protocols to prevent loss, theft, or unauthorized site transfers.
  • Enforce strict Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) rules within the warehouse, ensuring proper handling of hazardous materials (e.g., chemicals, paints, fuels) in accordance with Egyptian safety codes.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse supervisors, storekeepers, forklift operators, and manual labor staff.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and secure warehouse facilities equipped with functioning fire suppression and security systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field from a reputable university.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive warehouse management experience.
  • Construction Experience is a must.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, strong leadership, sharp attention to detail, loss prevention mindset, and crisis management under tight site timelines.
