Develop and maintain model inventory, risk rating, and lifecycle documentation for all AI, analytics, and risk models. Lead model validation, performance monitoring, and periodic reviews to ensure accuracy, reliability, and fairness. Collaborate with data science, engineering, compliance, and product teams to embed model governance best practices. Prepare and present model risk reports to senior leadership, audit, and regulatory stakeholders. Define model risk policies, procedures, and escalation protocols. Champion responsible and ethical AI practices across the organization. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, business, or risk-related field from a reputable university. Demonstrated experience in model risk management, model governance, or risk analytics within regulated financial institutions. Strong knowledge of CBUAE or similar regulatory frameworks related to model risk. Familiarity with AI/ML model lifecycle, validation, and monitoring processes. Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical frameworks and controls. Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
