Description
- Participate in updating the bank's Charts, ensuring the fulfillment of the bank’s general standards in terms of the following: (world standards, job functions, hierarchy, business titles, The Bank's Business Model, etc), all with the purpose of eliminating any arising conflict of interest.
- Update the bank's Procedures & Workflow Manuals, ensuring their reflection of contemporary practices and arising banking instructions or recommendations for business improvement.
- Participate in the bank's tariff updating process, conduct the Annual Tariffs Committee to review the bank’s Tariffs upon coordinating competitive analysis done by the concerned business lines, and announce the communication plan accordingly.
- Develop the bank's job descriptions, ensure their conformity with the developed organization charts, and conduct the necessary job analysis to maintain proper role assignments. Ensure that security risks are mitigated, including user access rights allocated to users/validation level.
- Update and develop the bank's standard applications, letters, internal forms, etc, and ensure their conformity to the bank’s general design & image guidelines with great emphasis on using the relevant banking terminology.
- Maintain regular communication with the Print House to ensure that the latest versions of the applications are provided to the branches.
- Develop the bank's Service Level Agreement (SLA) to establish standardized, efficient service cycles between different business lines to guarantee the timely delivery of requests and clear identification of responsibilities.
- Update the OM Intranet site with the most recent documentation (procedures, circulars, products, services/ any new information obtained from business lines), ensuring that it remains an informational hub that supports all the bank’s staff members for their day-to-day work.
- Provide analysis for the contemporary practices of the bank, work, and plan for Organizational Development, seeking areas of process improvement and optimization.]
- Maintain a customer-focused orientation when serving any business line in the process of business enhancement in order to ensure efficient workflow, guaranteeing fast delivery of service, and attaining optimum customer satisfaction.
- Detect problems with the business cycle, suggest solutions to eliminate redundancy, and ensure clear segregation of duties and responsibilities of involved staff members throughout the business process cycle.
- Act as a liaison between the involved business lines, integrating different remarks in order to develop a fully integrated business process cycle.
- Establish workflows using modern management tools, optimizing processes through looking for ways for efficiency, reduction of cycle time, and innovative practices (applying an “Out of the Box” thinking approach, Considering all Factors, Forming creativity groups as well as Challenging the process & status quo; with the main objective of maintaining the “Best Practices”..).
- Participate in and contribute to the general departmental culture of exchanging new ideas and best practices, all with the purpose of attaining ongoing process enhancement.
- Set SMART objectives to be achieved within the assigned projects that are congruent with the Bank’s Strategy.
- Participate in the assigned bank’s Process Reengineering Projects/Strategic programs/projects/initiatives, Short & Long-term plans. Ensure the completion of a fully integrated project cycle addressing the Bank’s Requirements in terms of: (allocated budget, timeframe in accordance with the feasibility study/Business Case).
- Conduct the necessary research and data analysis with the purpose of identifying the current status of the business targeted for improvement.
- Utilize the most efficient presentation means to display the information to the concerned parties.
- Hold regular project meetings and workshops, and steering committees with involved business lines to develop new realistic solutions and suggest new tools or systems to be implemented to improve the processing of work and further obtain management approvals on the proposed solutions.
- Hold Steering Committees to present proposed project solutions and obtain Management Approval.
- Maintain regular synergy with the involved business lines to communicate the minutes of meetings, follow up on the accomplishment of assigned tasks, and provide regular updates on the project status.
- Develop and write up the project documentation (i.e., Action Plans, Studies, Memos, Meeting Minutes, Presentations, etc) to be reflective of the ongoing status updates of the assigned projects and consistent with the Bank’s quality standards.
- Act as a reference point for the bank’s business lines with the purpose of providing them with the necessary consultation on their regular processing of work, whenever needed.
- Challenge the status quo and formulate new ideas and techniques for self-improvement and business improvement.
- Keep up with the bank’s general vision of continuous improvement by observing general market trends and best practices.
- Maintain the protection of data and the abidance by the related rules.
- Ensure the correct functioning and implementation of the Permanent Supervision, Compliance and Money Laundering, Operational Risk, and Workplace Success Guidelines whenever and wherever possible.
- Ensure correct adoption of policies and procedures in order to guarantee that the bank's business is conducted in compliance with Local Laws, Internal rules and regulations, as well as International Standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Economics with a grade of Very Good/Excellent (Equivalent to a GPA of 3.5 or higher...)
- Relevant experience is a must.
- Good knowledge of modern management methods, re-engineering techniques, system analysis, and business design, as well as tools & techniques of Project Management, is preferred.
- Hard worker (Demonstrated in the academic & professional background).
- Very good knowledge of PC applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet research skills).
- Very Ambitious young personality, self-starter, enthusiast, fast learner, and committed to a continuous improvement and innovation culture.
- Basic work competencies; excellent verbal & written communication skills, and Excellent command of the English Language.
- Good analytical skills, and a proactive listener & attentive to details.
