Description
- Responsible for the achievement of the Branch’s Corporate target as a whole and following up with Relationship Managers to ensure that they achieve their own individual targets.
- Responsible for coaching & follow-up with the assistant relationship manager to process all the corporate credit clients’ daily operational requests in a timely manner.
- Revise and sign credit facilities’ applications as specified by the Corporate procedures and within the authorized limits.
- Maintain relationships with complex and large corporate accounts to effectively promote the bank’s products (Deposits, E-Banking, Cards, Credit Facilities, etc.).
- Review and sign all Corporate reports required from the branch, and make sure it comply with Corporate policies and procedures.
- Approach potential customers to establish relationships, meet current Corporate clients to understand & fulfill their needs, and handle customer complaints quickly and effectively.
- Support and ensure active portfolio management by every concerned RM.
- Follow up monthly plan for the Corporate team’s business visits and follow up on their productivity and cross-selling on a weekly basis.
- Carry out frequent meetings and coach subordinates to motivate them and ensure their compatibility with the overall bank’s business strategies, and ensure the enhancement of their performance.
- Conduct regular reviews and take proactive measures to ensure corporate credit portfolio quality in terms of all irregularities, including expired files and past dues, etc., and manage its potential risk.
- Supports the Head of Corporate and performs management duties when the manager is absent or out of the office.
- Represent the main reference of corporate business knowledge within the branch and is responsible for spreading this knowledge among the Corporate Relationship Managers.
- Develop new business ideas and action plans, ensuring efficient and effective services are provided to customers in all corporate areas.
- Coordinate with the operations team inside the branch in solving operational problems that require more experienced judgment and on-the-spot decisions.
- Performing a systematic review of the portfolio risk ratings and credit provisions needed to meet CBE regulations.
- Communicate any concerns about credit files to the concerned entity, and prepare an early warning indicator sheet to be reported to the Head of Corporate.
- Follow up and monitor the correct implementation of KYC “Know Your Customer” and Anti Money-Laundering regulations related to corporate credit clients.
- Ensure the correct functioning and implementation of the Permanent Supervision, Compliance and Money Laundering, Operational Risk, and Workplace Success Guidelines whenever and wherever possible.
- Ensure the correct adoption of policies and procedures in order to guarantee that the bank business is conducted in compliance with Local Laws, Internal Rules and Regulations, as well as International Standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or Economics, Credit Course from a reputable university.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in banking, Sufficient experience/background in customer relationship management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, & managerial skills..
- High analytical, observational, and problem-solving skills..
- Innovative, self-motivated, cooperative, creative, & proactive.
- Ability to manage different tasks and assignments in parallel and in a timely manner.
- Excellent Command of English.
