Description
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for the Facilities Management Department aligned with organizational priorities.
- Lead budget planning, management, and control for the department, ensuring adherence to allocated funds.
- Oversee all procurement and fiscal management activities related to maintenance, landscaping, and housekeeping, including budget development, procurement, cost control, and payment tracking.
- Maximize operational efficiency by identifying and implementing process improvements and cost reduction strategies.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, building codes, safety requirements, and industry best practices.
- Manage third-party service providers to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of services as per contractual agreements.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization's Compounds, including building, grounds maintenance, and contractor supervision, to maintain properties according to company standards.
- Plan, manage, and monitor all repair and installation activities.
- Collaborate with the Projects Department to ensure smooth integration of restoration and renovation plans.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction by effectively coordinating between clients, vendors, and company management.
- Plan and coordinate maintenance activities, including equipment needs analysis, reliability assessments, and the development of preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
- Provide high-standard service and maintenance to clients.
- Respond to resident complaints and issues effectively, serving as the company's representative in resolving related matters.
- Establish and implement departmental policies, processes, and procedures to streamline internal workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field from a reputable university.
- Minimum 15+ years of progressive experience in facilities management, preferably within a real estate or property management environment.
- Proven experience in managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant facilities management software.
- Certifications in Facility Management (such as IFMA certifications) are a plus.
