  Description

  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure long-term partnerships and cost efficiencies.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends and new sourcing opportunities.
  • Process and manage purchase orders while ensuring compliance with company policies and budgetary constraints.
  • Review and negotiate contract terms with vendors to ensure favorable conditions and risk mitigation.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier agreements, and procurement documentation.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Assist in conducting supplier risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with the finance department to align procurement activities with financial planning and control measures.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with relevant departments to ensure timely stock replenishment.
  • Optimize procurement lead times to prevent delays in operational processes.
  • Assist in evaluating supply chain efficiencies and recommending process improvements.
  • Prepare and analyze procurement reports, identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiency enhancements.
  • Develop and implement procurement policies, workflows, and best practices to enhance operational control and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on evolving procurement trends, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

  Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field from a reputable university.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a procurement or supply chain role, preferably with responsibilities related to sourcing and purchasing.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement regulations, supply chain principles, and vendor management in Egypt market.
  • Proven experience with procurement planning, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective vendor and cross-functional collaboration.
