Description
- Configure and maintain the payment switch infrastructure, including transaction routing, switch parameters, and connectivity to payment processors and networks.
- Implement and enforce security measures to protect the payment switch from unauthorized access, data breaches, and fraud.
- Ensure compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and other relevant security standards.
- Continuously monitor the performance and responsiveness of the payment switch, identifying and addressing bottlenecks, outages, and performance issues.
- Develop and implement incident response plans for payment switch-related incidents, including transaction failures, security breaches, and technical problems.
- Coordinate with relevant teams for incident resolution.
- Collaborate with payment switch vendors, service providers, and technology partners.
- Ensure vendor performance aligns with technical and service level requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of payment switch configurations, procedures, and incident reports.
- Establish and enforce quality standards for payment switch configurations and performance.
- Review and approve changes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide technical support and assistance to internal teams and stakeholders for payment switch-related issues and inquiries.
- Support change management efforts related to payment switch updates, enhancements, and technological advancements. Ensure smooth transitions for users.
- Conduct testing of new configurations, features, and updates to ensure they function correctly and do not introduce issues into the production environment.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data and system availability in case of emergencies.
- Ensure correct adoption of policies and procedures to guarantee that the business is conducted in compliance with Local Laws, Internal rules and regulations, as well as, International Standards.
- Ensure the correct functioning and implementation of Permanent Supervision system, compliance, operational risk & workplace success guidelines whenever & wherever possible.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field from a reputable university.
- Master's degree is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional - CISSP, Certified Payment Card Industry Professional - CPISI) are advantageous.
- 1-4 years of relevant experience in Payment Switch Solutions and Certifications.
- Strong technical knowledge of payment switch infrastructure, transaction processing, and payment industry standards.
- Proficiency in security principles, compliance standards, and data protection regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for user support and vendor interaction.
