Description
- Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and operation of the payment switch infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Manage transaction routing rules within the payment switch to ensure transactions are directed to the appropriate endpoints, including processors, banks, and acquirers.
- Implement and enforce security measures to protect the payment switch from unauthorized access, data breaches, and fraud.
- Ensure compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and other relevant security standards.
- Lead the certification processes required for payment systems, including EMV, ISO 8583, and other industry-specific certifications. Ensure continuous compliance with these standards.
- Continuously monitor transaction traffic and patterns through the payment switch.
- Identify and address anomalies, bottlenecks, and performance issues. Incident Response: 8. Develop and maintain incident response plans for payment switch-related incidents, including transaction failures, security breaches, and technical issues.
- Coordinate with relevant teams for incident resolution.
- Manage relationships with payment switch vendors, service providers, and technology partners.
- Ensure vendor performance aligns with technical and compliance requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of payment switch configurations, certification processes, and incident reports.
- Provide technical support and training to internal teams and stakeholders using the payment switch.
- Address inquiries and issues related to transaction processing.
- Develop and manage the budget for payment switch operations, optimizing resource allocation.
- Generate and distribute regular reports on the status of payment switch operations, including transaction volumes, certification statuses, and compliance efforts, to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure correct adoption of policies and procedures to guarantee that the bank's business is conducted in compliance with Local Laws, Internal rules and regulations, as well as, International Standards.
- Ensure the correct functioning and implementation of the Permanent Supervision system, compliance, operational risk & workplace success guidelines whenever & wherever possible.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field from a reputable university. A master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Payment Switch Solutions and Certifications for the Manager.
- Excellent knowledge of payment switch infrastructure, transaction processing, and payment industry standards.
- Proficiency in security principles and PCI DSS compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills for payment switch-related issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor management and user support.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Payment Professional - CPP, Certified Information Systems Security Professional - CISSP) are advantageous.
