Description
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of professionals, including payment system analysts, engineers, and support staff, to ensure efficient, and effective operation of E-Payment systems.
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of electronic payment systems, ensuring they are secure, reliable, and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
- Oversee the management, maintenance, and optimization of card payment systems including fraud management systems, alternate switch arrangements, technical operations, and certifications.
- Manage ATM networks, including deployment, maintenance, and security measures to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Develop and execute a tactical plan for E-Payment systems, aligning them with the organization's business strategy and customer needs.
- Manage relationships with payment service providers and technology vendors.
- Negotiate contracts, oversee service level agreements, and ensure vendor performance meets expectations.
- Implement robust security measures to protect payment data and ensure compliance with payment card industry (PCI) standards and data protection regulations.
- Implement monitoring and fraud detection systems to identify and mitigate fraudulent transactions and ensure the integrity of payment processes.
- Oversee customer support services related to electronic payments, ensuring prompt resolution of payment-related inquiries and issues.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate payment gateways, APIs, and third-party services to enable seamless and secure payment processing.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies to ensure uninterrupted e-payment services.
- Utilize data analytics to gain insights into payment trends, customer behavior, and transaction patterns.
- Use data-driven decision-making to optimize payment processes.
- Manage the budget for e-payment systems, optimizing resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with evolving regulations and compliance requirements related to electronic payments. Ensure the organization's adherence to these regulations.
- Ensure the correct adoption of policies and procedures to guarantee that the bank's business is conducted in compliance with Local Laws, Internal rules and regulations, and International Standards.
- Ensure the correct functioning and implementation of the Permanent Supervision system, compliance, operational risk & workplace success guidelines whenever & wherever possible.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field from a reputable university. A master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in E-Payment systems management or a related role, including leadership and team management experience.
- Excellent understanding of electronic payment systems, including payment gateways, digital wallets, and online payment methods.
- Proficiency in payment security standards and regulations, such as PCI DSS. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor management and team collaboration.
- Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with emerging payment technologies and trends.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Payment Professional, Certified Information Systems Security Professional) are an advantage.
