  Description

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of professionals, including payment system analysts, engineers, and support staff, to ensure efficient, and effective operation of E-Payment systems.
  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of electronic payment systems, ensuring they are secure, reliable, and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
  • Oversee the management, maintenance, and optimization of card payment systems including fraud management systems, alternate switch arrangements, technical operations, and certifications.
  • Manage ATM networks, including deployment, maintenance, and security measures to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  •  Develop and execute a tactical plan for E-Payment systems, aligning them with the organization's business strategy and customer needs.
  • Manage relationships with payment service providers and technology vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts, oversee service level agreements, and ensure vendor performance meets expectations.
  •  Implement robust security measures to protect payment data and ensure compliance with payment card industry (PCI) standards and data protection regulations.
  • Implement monitoring and fraud detection systems to identify and mitigate fraudulent transactions and ensure the integrity of payment processes.
  • Oversee customer support services related to electronic payments, ensuring prompt resolution of payment-related inquiries and issues.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate payment gateways, APIs, and third-party services to enable seamless and secure payment processing.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies to ensure uninterrupted e-payment services.
  • Utilize data analytics to gain insights into payment trends, customer behavior, and transaction patterns.
  • Use data-driven decision-making to optimize payment processes.
  • Manage the budget for e-payment systems, optimizing resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving regulations and compliance requirements related to electronic payments. Ensure the organization's adherence to these regulations.
  • Ensure the correct adoption of policies and procedures to guarantee that the bank's business is conducted in compliance with Local Laws, Internal rules and regulations, and International Standards.
  • Ensure the correct functioning and implementation of the Permanent Supervision system, compliance, operational risk & workplace success guidelines whenever & wherever possible.

  Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field from a reputable university. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in E-Payment systems management or a related role, including leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent understanding of electronic payment systems, including payment gateways, digital wallets, and online payment methods.
  • Proficiency in payment security standards and regulations, such as PCI DSS. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor management and team collaboration.
  • Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with emerging payment technologies and trends.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Payment Professional, Certified Information Systems Security Professional) are an advantage.
