Description
- Administer and maintain Active Directory (AD) services, including user account management, group policy configuration, and domain trust relationships.
- Manage DNS (Domain Name System) and DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) services to ensure proper network naming and IP address allocation.
- Manage directory services, including LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol), ensuring the efficient storage and retrieval of network resource information.
- Design and maintain a structured and secure directory schema for optimal data organization.
- Implement and manage authentication mechanisms, ensuring secure and efficient user access to network resources.
- Define and enforce access controls, permissions, and security policies within the domain.
- Optimize domain and directory infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Monitor system performance, conduct regular assessments, and implement optimization strategies.
- Troubleshoot domain and directory-related issues, diagnose problems and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
- Respond to and resolve user access and authentication requests.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of domain and directory configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field from a reputable university.
- Minimum 2- 3 years of relevant experience.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, CompTIA Network+) are advantageous.
- Experience in domain and directory services administration, with a strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and LDAP.
- Certifications MCSA, CompTIA Security+ Familiarity with email security measures, encryption, and anti-phishing techniques. Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
