Description
- Hires, trains, and motivates all dealership department managers.
- Direct and monitor all dealership management or supervisory personnel functions and complete formal performance evaluations of all department managers at regularly scheduled intervals.
- Monitor the daily operating control, recommending improved courses of action where necessary.
- Communicate management policies and procedures to all employees and ensure they are understood and followed.
- Provide enthusiastic leadership to help shape employee's attitudes and build morale.
- Hold regularly scheduled manager's meetings to ensure that every department is operating efficiently and profitably.
- Coordinate with the business office to ensure that records and analysis are maintained accurately.
- Develop merchandising strategies and assist in creating effective, cost-efficient advertising programs.
- Resolve any customer complaints that department managers are unable to rectify.
- Provide product strategic direction to ensure profitable growth.
- Present product ideas and proposals to the team following established approval processes.
- Manage and develop the implementation of the operational strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related major from a reputable university.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent communication/leadership skills.
- Excellent command of English.
- Proven track of leadership skills.
- Proven experience in decision making and strategic planning.
