- Control the purchase and supply of all procured items and services in a timely and cost effective manner while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications.
- Implement procurement strategy and policies.
- Review production plans and maintains inventory level to satisfy production needs.
- Manage raw materials warehouse and attain the target for overall inventory turns per year.
- Manage Materials planning
- Lead initiatives that decrease company expenses while increasing profit.
- Evaluate Bids & RFQs, Manage selection of vendors.
- Manage shipping and custom clearance process.
- Discuss defective or rejected goods or services with users, vendors, and others to determine cause of problem and take corrective and preventative action.
- Assist in preparation and management of Annual Budget Plans.
- Evaluate existing and potential suppliers; recommend and implement changes in suppliers.
- Develop and implement methods to sell or dispose obsolete and slow moving inventory.
