Description
- Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
- Calculates the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc. with assistance of a computer system.
- Checks non-exempt personnel time sheets utilizing an electronic time and attendance software product for compliance with policy, state and regulatory requirements.
- Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers.
- Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
- Administers statements of payment to personnel either electronically or on paper.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree from reputable university.
- 2-3 years of experience in payroll
- Personnel experience is a plus.
- Very strong excel capabilities
