  Description

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions to optimize procurement costs and ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
  • Oversee procurement processes, supplier selection, and contract negotiations to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply of materials and components.
  • Monitor and analyze key supply chain metrics, such as inventory levels, on-time delivery, lead times, and supplier performance, taking corrective actions as necessary.
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory management practices, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory while ensuring product availability.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as disruptions, capacity constraints, and geopolitical issues, through proactive planning and alternative sourcing strategies.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain management, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to supply chain operations
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures of reporting departments (Procurement – Warehouses) to ensure it meet with the business needs.
  • Maintain and update approved vendor lists for the suppliers based on a preset criteria and ensuring ongoing update of the related vendor master.
  • Coordinate between planning, procurement, and warehouses to take required decisions to assure availability of required material with optimum working capital.

 

  Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related major from a reputable university.
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, demand planning, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in English.
