  Description

  • Installation and Configuration: Install and configure IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic, and Apache Tomcat servers based on project requirements and best practices. Set up server environments, including security settings, network configurations, and integration with databases.
  • Deployment and Maintenance: Deploy web applications onto the servers and manage their lifecycle. Monitor server performance, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and apply patches and updates to ensure server stability and security.
  • Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize the performance of web application servers by tuning various server parameters, monitoring resource usage, and implementing caching and load balancing techniques. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Security and Access Control: Implement security measures to protect web applications and server environments. Configure user access controls, SSL certificates, and authentication mechanisms to ensure data confidentiality and integrity.
  • High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Set up and maintain high availability configurations, such as clustering and failover mechanisms, to ensure uninterrupted access to web applications. Develop and implement disaster recovery plans for web application servers.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Establish monitoring systems to track server performance, resource utilization, and application availability. Generate reports and provide insights to stakeholders regarding server performance and capacity planning
  • Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with development teams, system administrators, and network engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to web application server environments. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and assist in resolving production incidents.
  • Documentation and Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of server configurations, installation procedures, troubleshooting steps, and operational guidelines. Keep documentation up-to-date with changes and improvements made to the server infrastructure.

  Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in computer science or relevant major from a reputable university.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience preferably in Banking sector.
  • Experience in administering and managing IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic, and Apache Tomcat servers
  • Good command of English.
  • Very Good written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong organizational skills
