Description
- Provide guidance and expertise on system options, risk, impact and costs vs. benefits
- Responsible for multitasking and dealing with multiple urgent situations at a time.
- Participate in the processes of strategic project-planning meetings.
- Create and share operational requirements and development forecasts to allow for timely and accurate planning of projects.
- Develop scripts to automate infrastructure/virtual network.
- Install and configure solutions, implement reusable components.
- Configure firewall for infrastructure (VM’s).
- Deploy Bash/Python scripts for VM’s.
- Promote infrastructure best practices, such as security, release management and monitoring.
- Design infrastructure that is resilient, secure, and highly available.
- Recommend performance enhancements by performing gap analysis, identifying alternative solutions, and assisting with modifications.
- Design and implement processes and tools to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), maximizing the speed and quality of delivery across team.
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
Requirements
- Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or Engineering is must.
- Minimum 6 years' experience in development related role 3 of which as DevOps Engineer.
- Strong skills in networking/security on public cloud platforms.
- AWS platforms required (Azure or Google is a plus).
- CCNA (certificate is a plus).
- Strong foundation in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and related tools (e.g., Terraform) is must.
- Elasticsearch required (Kibana, Logstash, Grafana or Prometheus is a plus).
- Bash Scripting or Python is a plus.
- Experience working with container platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Fluency in English is a must.
