  Description

Production: Ensuring the processing of all tasks related to the business with optimum productivity through

  • Requesting, supervising and carrying on market research projects to acquire needed data for market analysis.
  • Monitoring the evolution of customer needs and preferences, of the competitive environment and competitive benchmarking of the company’s products within the market
  • Ensuring attractiveness, competitiveness and consistency of the product range, and implementing required evolutions through the Marketing action plan
  • Designing and implementing products’ communication activities and promotional materials for the sales channels
  • Creating and maintaining a strong brand leveraging
  • Contributing to the definition and implementation of the commercial policy of the company
  • Establishing the company’s communication’s strategy including objectives, targets and tools.
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with external media and marketing services providers
  • Put and implement a PR plan and events, sponsorships and exhibitions
  • Following up and reporting on the performance of the Marketing team
  • Providing reports on a regular basis, and as directed or requested, to keep the Business Development Manager informed of the operation and progress of the Marketing department efforts

Audit: Ensuring the quality and safety of all Marketing processes through

  • Assuring that all the Marketing tasks are complying with the set quality indicators and priorities
  • Emphasizing that the procedures, rules and regulations must be known and applied by the team
  • Applying and reviewing that the Permanent Supervision and all controls are performed in due time and actions are taken if any problems detected
  • Setting and following up performance indicators.

Team Management: Enforcing the Business Development Manager instructions and decisions with the team’s support through

  • Setting the example/direction for the team
  • Leading the staff to follow that direction to reach assigned targets in coordination with the Business Development Manager
  • Assessing and developing on a regular basis the technical, managerial and communication skills of his/her team through training and coaching
  • Ensuring that the staff can cope with the work load and stress by offering them support , motivation and appreciation
  • Keeping a good communication level with other departments and networks
  • Organizing regular workshops with the team to develop communication inside the department
  • Reinforcing team spirit between the staff to ease up any conflict situation that might appear

  • Appraising the staff on a yearly basis to make salary reviews, bonus and promotion proposals

Organization Development: Anticipating any future problems or need for change in the organization

  • Reviewing the Marketing procedures, organization and processes and make improvement proposal for the sake of organization and in order to save materials and resources
  • Proposing new methods to enhance the staff performance and skills and supporting the Business Development Manager in formalizing the department’s training plan to improve the staff skills
  • Anticipating any crisis and supporting the Business Development Manager to set an action plan with corrective actions to remedy it.
  • Planning, organizing, directing & controlling the work of the department as a whole in light of the company strategy.
  • Planning for the area of activity and having a vision of the related activities for the next year. Being able to build a yearly & half-yearly plan based on an understanding of the overall goals of the company
  • Creativity & innovation in designing & launching new products.
  • Continuously improve / modify existing products
  • Arrange & launch marketing activities & campaigns for new & existing products with the objective of boosting sales & profitability.
  • Ensure product presence across the different channels. Support the sales force by training & tools (sales kits) to boost sales & increase revenue.
  • Develop the promotional material in coordination with other Departments (ads, brochures, flyers, posters, etc.)
  • Monitor competition & transfer knowledge to the sales
  • Build an understanding of the different client segments’ view of the product ranges.

  Requirements

  • Bachelor degree from a reputable university.
  • MBA is a plus.
  • 8 - 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent command of English and French is a plus.
  • Excellent Communication skills.
