Senior Oracle Database Administrator (259093)

SQL performance analysis, with the goal to optimize poorly performing query to reduce the resource impact on the shared multi tenancy database environment.
Database performance analysis, distinguishing between customer implementation issues vs infrastructure issues.
Ensure solution/recommendation are based upon sound architectural principles and performance best practices in a multi-tiered, shared schema Oracle RDBMS environment.
Provide detailed troubleshooting analysis documentation and make recommendation of how to improve overall SQL performance in terms of campaign design and implementation and SQL tuning.
Effectively collaborate with other Product/Operation Support teams and Product Engineering team to resolve performance and design issues.
Contribute to the 24/7 on-call and maintenance rotation.
Document and implement Standard Operations Procedure to improve operation efficiency and effectiveness.
Participate regular/impromptu meeting upon request.
Submit product enhancement request and participate follow-up meeting/discussion.
Provide consultancy of SQL/Database performance question/issue.
Write shell script, PL/SQL, SQL code for daily operations for supported platform.
Design and develop automation tool.

Bachelor Degree in a relevant technical major from a reputable university.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in large scale internal mission critical IT or SaaS operations.
Exadata, Oracle RAC and Data Guard experience is a must.
Fluency in English is a must.
