  Description

  • Responsible for the support and management of PC hardware.
  • Ensures the security, safety and confidentiality of all information system environments all in line with Local and Company Global direction. While ensuring adherence with the IT technology standards, with the direction and support of the IT Manager, the incumbent is also responsible for the execution of identified projects while ensuring that day-to-day operations continue to run effectively and efficiently.
  • Responsible for implementation of business application systems.
  • Tracking hardware and software requirements and renewals, managing all the important global projects cascaded down by Geneva IT and insure full IT compliance. 
  • Problem solving, implementation and all technical support activities and multi-tasking various projects, maybe required to travel as needed by the business.
  • Manages related activities in line with Company Global direction and supports systems infrastructure development. 
  • Responsible of the security, safety and confidentiality of all information system environments. 
  • Responsible for the configuration and installation of current technology computer hardware and related equipment and connecting them to the network.
  • Responsible on the installation, maintenance and improvement of the electronic mailing system for the users’ side and also for the administrator side. He /She has to encourage the users to raise their technical IT sues to be handled by the Centre of Excellence.
  • Coordinates IT activities with related local business organizations according to corporate IT objectives.
    Performs Problem analysis related to hardware, software, Voice and Data Communication.
  • Contribute to the implementation of the Quality Management requirement’s in line with ISO standards and company requirements.

  Requirements

  • Bachelor degree of Computer Science from a reputable university.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in technical support field.
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Cisco switches and Telephony knowledge and support.
