Description
- Define and build PMO standards and templates based on PMI standards
- Appoint / recruit PMO resources based on PMO model
- Define IT PMO organizational model
- Provide reporting to senior management and stakeholders
- Ensure alignment to strategy
- Create working relationships with project managers and other PMO’s
- Facilitate governance process
- Overall risk management to identify themes
- Facilitate dependency management across the projects and programs
- Facilitate change control process
- Track deliverables and benefit realization
- Develop and mentor project managers
- Responsible for tools, standards and methodology i.e. project management templates
- Leads in developing project plans, goals, budgets and identifying resources
- Develop schedules and methods for measuring results
- Contribute in the preparation of requests for proposals and conducting all necessary meetings to facilitate selection of project services and products
- Monitor and, when delegated the authority, managing different phases of the project to ensure on-time completion
- Guide and performing operational analysis for the project
- Supervise and, if required, coordinating project team members; reviewing and, if required, changing individual responsibilities
- Collect information in relation to overseeing the preparation and dissemination of project communications.
- Collaborate with other members of the team to carry out work smoothly
- Plan and supervise the day to day activities of the section; streamlining processes wherever possible
- Evaluate workload, conducting performance evaluation and initiating necessary disciplinary actions
- Provide on the job training and orienting the team during course of work
- Complete additional relevant duties and tasks assigned.
- Comply with Policies, Procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain confidentiality with regards to any information exchanged or received in the current capacity of role in accordance with facility policy
- Promote Customer Service standards
- Assume the role of a brand ambassador for the facility and promoting a customer focused philosophy in dealing with any stakeholders
- Maintain positive and effective working relationships within the department/division and also with other departments/sections
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned relevant to the basic responsibilities of the role
- Adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety, Materials Management and Maintenance standards
- Adhere to requirements of the Occupational Health and safety guidelines and infection control guidelines
- Understand and adhere to emergency preparedness plans/policies
- Ensure Personal Effectiveness
- Recognize the necessity of continuously developing skills and acquiring additional knowledge appropriate to the position
- Build key partnerships within the organization for pursuing client-centered, comprehensive, integrated systems of care
- Coach, mentor, train, and development of junior staff
Requirements
- Bachelor degree from a reputable university.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Effective verbal, written communications skills
- MS Office/ MS Project/ MS BI and computer proficiency
- Document Management Tool
- Self-starter and takes charge
