  Description

  • Draft and/or Review all pertinent corporate documents.
  • Update the Corporate Legal system with all the systematic information and pertinent corporate documents based on recent activity in the aforementioned Companies.
  • Handle the shipping Cargo Claims and litigation cases.
  • Update the company's shipping Legal system with all the pertinent information of the legal claims and litigation cases based on aforementioned activity.
  • Liaise with the Company’s Labor External Lawyer in Handling interrelated matters of HR and Legal dept. within the scope of labor and social insurance matters
  • Formulate, provide, advise, draft, review and design standardized context for contracts, within the framework of the following domains:
    • New collaborations and partnerships with suppliers, service providers’ yards and terminals.
    • Company’s Lease contracts of its different Branches.
    • Contracts of Sale of Company’s Assets, following a prior approval via Ordinary GA and the HO.
  • Review and approve the invoices issued by the legal dept.’s Suppliers and service providers, before proceeding with the needed payments.
  • Liaise with external lawyers for notarization and validation of the corporate documents at the concerned authorities.
  • Provide Legal Translation (to Both English and/or French) as requested by diverse dept., Head Office and Top Management.
  • Day-to-day legal advices to several dept. and Head Office relative to shipping or corporate matters.
  • Monitor the quality of all legal dept’ suppliers and draft a quarterly quality report accordingly.

  Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree of Law from a reputable university.
  • Minimum 3 - 6 years of relevant experience in logistics/shipping sector.
  • Fluency in English and French is a big plus.
  • Previous experience in Legal Translation and litigation is a must.
